Pain Killers

April 7, 2010

Since my fall a couple weeks ago, I’ve noticed I have to take T3s and some Ibuprofen to help with the pain. I’ve also noticed I spend a lot more time in a confused state. The funny thing is, I haven’t taken them in a few days, but I still get that foggy kind of feeling that I got while on them. Plus, my sensitivity to such things has gone down since the surgery. I wonder if anyone else had this happen.

It’s strange because I was taking all sorts of wonderful medications while in the hospital. Yet, now something as simple as T3 can knock me out? Weird.

Back to George Brown

January 11, 2010

I am back at George Brown in their ASL/Deaf Studies program. It is interesting. I recognized no one from my previous courses. This means I am in a class of people I do not know. Not only that, but they all know each other, and there is an odd number of students in the class. We often have to pair up. The other groups have been taking me on as a burden. I hope my skills improve enough to finish the program. I’m not expecting huge marks (except in the English course). But, I am expecting to pass. I suppose it won’t hurt to watch deaf ninja again.
